Formula Summary
- Delivery: simple sprinkle capsules.
- 125mg N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine (99%) per capsule helps maintain the bladder.
- N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine provides glycosaminoglycans (GAG) that will attach to the defective urothelium and will decrease bladder permeability.
- TryptoCyst regenerates and keeps the GAG protective layer healthy
- Hyaluronic acid, L-Theanine, L-Tryptophan, Quercetin – for calming and reducing inflammation
Clinical Applications
TryptoCyst helps support a healthy bladder and is widely used in cases of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and as an adjuvant for other cystitis disorders.
Signs of bladder inflammation (cystitis) are:
- Difficulty and pain when urinating (dysuria)
- Increased frequency of urination (pollakiuria)
- Blood in the urine (haematuria)
- Urgency to urinate often leading to urination outside the litter
- Complete obstruction to urine
- Behavioural change
- Aggression
- Producing only small amounts or discoloured urine
First two weeks
Weight less than 3kg: 1 capsule per day
Weight more than 3kg: 2 capsules per day
For maintenance after the first two weeks:
Weight less than 3kg: 1 capsule every other day
Weight more than 3kg: 1 capsule per day
